Predator LPC

Predator LPC is a uniquely versatile high-volume printing system that delivers exceptional results on cut-piece goods. It also excels on finished goods like flags, banners, and towels. Predator’s specialty is the edge-to-edge and all-over printing typically done using water-based inks. Predator LPC is available in 4, 6, 8, and 10-color models, with maximum image areas up to 97 x 213 cm (38” x 84”). All models feature servo-driven indexers, electric printheads, and multiple print-stroke capability.


Sportsmen EX

M&R’s Sportsman EX automatic textile presses offer exceptional value and quality at an amazingly affordable price. Sportsman EX 1618 is available in 6, 8, and 10-color models with a maximum image area of 41 x 46 cm (16” x 18”). Sportsman EX 2020 is available in 6, 8, 10, and 12-color models with a maximum image area of 51 x 51 cm (20″ x 20″). All models feature electric printheads, servo-driven indexers, multiple print-stroke capability, and a new color touch-screen interface with graphical displays and icon-based labeling that can show information and commands in numerous languages, simplifying press operation and training anywhere in the world. Also included are onboard self-diagnostics and real-time production data display.


Sportman DPE

Sportsman DPE has the same simplicity of operation and performance-proven dependability as the Sportsman E, but with room to place flash units between print stations. Sportsman DPE’s eight printheads and 18 stations enable users to flash between each printhead and still print up to eight colors. Sportsman DPE has a maximum print stroke length of 72 cm (28.5″) and a standard image area of 41 x 46 cm (16” x 18″). Sportsman DPE’s maximum image area (without flash cure units in place) is an impressive 76 x 72 cm (30” x 28.5”). All models feature servo-driven indexers, electric printheads, and multiple print-stroke capability.



Encore is M&R’s newest oval-shaped press, and it’s designed specifically for the needs of cut-piece operations. Built around a 10-station base module Encore is available in 10, 18, 26, 34, and 42-station configurations. The press can rotate in either direction, and models can be set up so that each printhead is followed by one open station (print/flash) or by two open stations (print/flash/cool). No cut-piece press is more flexible. Since Encore’s oval shape takes up less floor space than comparable carousel presses, it makes more efficient use of available production area. This also allows the Encore to fit into spots where no carousel press could. Cleverly-designed safety skirting surrounds the press, and the fully-enclosed ends can be used to stack substrate or to provide easy access to print-related materials. Encore has a maximum image area of 50 X 70 cm (20” X 28”).


Challenger III

Now, M&R’s all-new Challenger III expands on that tradition by combining innovative patented and patent-pending features—like M&R’s Revolver Print Program—with exceptional speed and the best ideas from over 20 years of M&R automatics. Challenger III’s indexer enables double indexing in one uninterrupted motion, increasing production speed for oversize work by eliminating the pause between indexes. Like Alpha 8, Challenger III’s printheads also feature calibrated tool-free click-stop four-corner off-contact settings for fast and accurate screen leveling. Built from the ground up to optimize speed, performance, flexibility, print quality, and durability, Challenger III is ready to dominate.


Alpha 8

Alpha 8 is M&R’s exciting new take on the oval-shaped press. It’s modular and expandable—and can be configured for almost any production requirement. Since Alpha 8’s oval shape takes up less floor space than comparable carousel presses, it makes more efficient use of available production area. This also allows the Alpha 8 to fit into spots where no carousel press could. Alpha 8 is available in 3 models: Alpha 8 5070, Alpha 8 6080, and Alpha 8 80110. These offer maximum image areas of 50 x 70 cm (20” x 28”), 60 x 84 cm (24” x 33”) and 80 x 110 cm (31.5” x 43.5″), respectively. Double-index mode on alternating printheads can produce images up to 99 cm x 70 cm (39” x 28”) on the 5070, 109 cm x 84 cm (43” x 33”) on the 6080, and 114 x 110 cm (45″ x 43.5″) on the 80110. The 8-station Base/Drive Module supports up to four printheads, while M&R’s Plug & Print™ modular design provides for expansion—in six-station increments—up to 62 stations on Alpha 8 5070 & 6080, and up to 50 stations on Alpha 8 80110. Alpha 8’s digital touch-screen control panel with icon-based labeling can display information and commands in numerous languages, simplifying press operation and training anywhere in the world.


Sportsman EXG

Sportsman EXG is the successor to M&R’s wildly popular Gauntlet II. But while it’s built on the same foundation as Gauntlet II, Sportsman EXG has more standard features, greater maximum image area, and the ability to handle larger screen frames. It’s an exceptionally fast press with a large 51 x 51 cm (20” x 20) maximum image area, compact footprint, and aggressive pricing. Sportsman EXG is available in 12 and 14-color models, and offers a wide array of standard features, starting with a servo-driven indexer that combines higher press speeds with exceptional smoothness, consistency, and longevity; variable-speed electric printheads for smooth print strokes and exceptional control; central off-contact for fast, incremental single-lever adjustment of all stations simultaneously; and a color touch-screen control panel with graphical display that provides onboard self-diagnostics, real-time production data, and user-friendly control over most press functions. Sportsman EXG’s capacity for screen frame sizes up to 66 x 91 (26” x 36”) gives printers the ability to utilize their stock screen inventories.

The Diamondback Series is M&R’s line of versatile and highly-affordable entry-level presses. Diamondbacks are available with up to 9 printheads and in 8 and 10-station configurations. Maximum image areas range from 35 x 28 cm (14” x 11”) to 51 x 53 cm (20” x 21”). Diamondback presses feature servo-driven indexing to ensure smooth, accurate travel, and pneumatic screen clamps that facilitate rapid screen loading, hold roller frames without special adapters, and deliver excellent stability on a wide variety of screens. Each press has pneumatically-driven printheads; pneumatic squeegee/floodbar clamps with tool-free angle adjustment; pneumatic screen frame clamps; and pneumatic squeegee pressure regulators with pressure gauges on each printhead for exceptional control of print pressure. Diamondback squeegee/floodbar systems offer independently-set angle and calibrated pressure adjustments; front or rear print carriage stop position that allows operator to leave screens clear or flooded; independent squeegee & floodbar speed adjustments; and visual reference marks every 5 degrees to simplify squeegee/floodbar angle adjustments. Adjustable rear stroke length with tool-free adjustment maximizes print speed.

Challenger III D

M&R’s revolutionary Challenger III D, with groundbreaking Dynamic PrintStroke™, brings a new dimension to automatic textile printing. Dynamic PrintStroke™ provides programmable control over squeegee pressure, print/flood speed, print-stroke length, and print-carriage position and other settings. The squeegee pressure setting can be varied between print strokes, offering unparalleled control over ink deposit. These programmable print parameters—along with Ink Dip™, Ink Dam™, flash-cure, and other print settings—can be named, saved, and stored as a unique print program in M&R’s Job Recall™ storage & retrieval system. Operators can later recall that job for subsequent print runs. For similar but not identical jobs, the operator can save a copy of the job under another name and tweak those settings rather than starting from scratch. Stored jobs can even be sent electronically to other Challenger III D machines, providing large operations and contract printers with unprecedented convenience and control over production.
