Amscomatic’s high-speed BI-200 continuous-motion infeed system is designed for Amscomatic automatic folding machines. It increases folding capacity by rapidly feeding the folder as the leading edge of each item is placed on the conveyor belt. Developed primarily for T-shirts, the BI-200 replaces the standard drape table, and can handle products up to 76 x 127 cm (30” x 50”).

The BI-200 is built on a unitized frame that requires no additional floor space. It’s driven by a servo motor, which enables the BI-200 to combine high speed with exceptional smoothness, consistency, and longevity. The BI-200 is built to specifications established by the European Committee for Standardization® (CE) and Underwriters Laboratories® (UL), and is backed by a one-year limited warranty. Card Feeding System

The CF-100 automatic card feed/insert system replaces the standard drape table and is designed to integrate seamlessly with Amscomatic’s automatic folding systems. These exceptionally fast card feeders are able to keep pace with the highest folder cycle speeds. They accept a wide variety of 16 to 20 point non-curled cardboard and chipboard stiffeners, which are fed into garments during the folding process. The card magazine can be refilled quickly to help maintain high productivity levels.

CF-100 models are available for new folders and for folders already in use. The CF-100 easily adjusts to toddler, youth, and adult-sized garments. It features a stainless steel surface, and hinged doors for easy access. The top is also hinged so that the adjustable magazine can be quickly filled with 30 cm (12”) high stacks of cards. Tagging Systems

LLM Taggers dramatically increase post-press productivity by attaching up to three product tags of varying sizes to a wide variety of items, including T-shirts, caps, socks, towels, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. Since barb and tag sets feed automatically, the LLM is ready when the operator loads the next item, allowing the operator to concentrate on positioning the item on the LLM and then stacking it after tagging. User-friendly design and simplicity of operation make them the ideal tool for unskilled workers.

On the LLM III, for example, a price tag, a product information tag, and a cleaning instruction tag can be automatically fed—in any order—onto the needle before being attached to the garment with a fastener (barb). When only one tag is required, the LLM II & LLM III allow the operator to stock each tag feeder with a different tag, making it possible to quickly change from one item to another by toggling the appropriate tag feeder. When only one tag is required, the operator can stock each feeder with the same tag. The speed, efficiency, and flexibility of LLM Taggers can produce a dramatic increase in operator productivity, and provide an exceptionally rapid return on investment.

Convenyer Systems

The IC-120 self-contained freestanding incline conveyor is designed to accept materials fed directly from Amscomatic’s bag loading/sealing systems and from other packaging machines. Adjustable delivery height and angle allows the IC-120 to also be used in numerous situations requiring automated product conveyance, including those where products must be elevated so they can be dropped into boxes. The IC-120 is available in 30 cm (12″) and 46 cm (18″) belt widths. A flat, rough-top belt provides reliable product transfer and allows pairing of the IC-120 with automatic labeling machines like the Amscomatic UPA-II.

An optional counter can be used to stop the IC-120 conveyor upon reaching a user-set count. Resetting the counter restarts the conveyor. Other options include pressure-sensitive label applicators and print-and-apply labeling systems. The IC-120 also features heavy-duty casters and a high-quality, long life drive system. Stacking System

Self-contained and freestanding AS-200 automatic stackers can be fed directly from most automatic folders. They require minimal floor space and accept a wide variety of products up to 30 x 38 cm (12” x 15”) in size, indexing user-set counts into uniform stacks up to 30 cm (12”) high. Those stacks can then be sent to automatic baggers or onto conveyors. AS-200 stackers feature elevated discharge, which frees operators from repetitive stooping and bending.

AS-200 stackers feature product thickness adjustment, variable infeed speed, adjustable infeed and outfeed heights, and a programmable counter. An LCD touchpad interface controls most functions. Extended accumulation footage is optionally available. Labeling Systems

The stand-mounted UPA-II System prints labels on demand and applies them to a wide variety of products. UPA-II is fully automatic, and it’s the perfect companion for Amscomatic’s automatic bagger/sealer. The system combines a UPA-II label applicator with a choice of print engines from leading manufacturers. Optional labeling software allows users to design labels with barcodes, pricing & sizing information, product branding, and a wide variety of text and graphics. Those designs are then downloaded from the computer to the printer, which then prints the completed label and positions it for application by the UPA-II. The labels are then affixed to products passing by when signaled by the machine’s polarized photoelectric product sensor.

 

Labeling System

Amscomatic’s L-15HPA print and apply labeler automatically prints blank label stock with any combination of graphics, bar codes, pricing, or other data, and then applies the labels virtually anywhere on the front of garments as they pass through an automatic folding machine. Positioned on the folder, the L-15HPA simplifies setup, label loading, and label positioning. With a folder-activated product sensor, variable timer, and adjustable mount, the user-friendly L-15HPA system offers excellent versatility. The L-15HPA can be easily installed on new and older Amscomatic automatic folders, as well as on certain other brands of folding machines (Call for a custom quote).

The L-15HPA works with thermal-transfer print engines from manufacturers such as Sato, Zebra, Datamax and Avery-Dennison, allowing seamless integration into most any production environment. The print size is infinitely variable in lengths up to 38 cm (15”) and widths up to 15 cm (6”). BarTender bar-coding software from Seagull Scientific is included. This easy-to-use and versatile program allows the user to create a wide variety of label types, and it can pull data for the labels from almost anywhere. Existing labeling software may also be compatible.

Amscomatic’s high-speed label applicator is designed to automatically apply labels to garments as they pass through an automatic folding machine. Positioned on the folder, the L-15H simplifies setup, label loading, and label positioning. With a folder-activated product sensor, variable timer, and adjustable mount, the L-15H allows label placement virtually anywhere on the front of the folded garment. The L-15H can be easily integrated with new and older Amscomatic automatic folders, as well as with some other brands of folding machines.

The L-15H has a 7.62 cm (3”) label core capacity, and is designed to speed label loading and changeover. It mounts directly to the folder, and features variable side-to-side label location. An optional floor stand adds flexibility by allowing the L-15H to be positioned over a conveyor. Amscomatic also supplies printers for printing labels prior to application. Like all Amscomatic equipment, the L-15H is backed by a one-year limited warranty. The L-15H is engineered for dependable performance and low maintenance in demanding, high-production environments, and can be easily integrated with other Amscomatic equipment into automatic folding/bagging/sealing systems.

 

Bagging Systems

Omni-Bagger, Amscomatic’s compact, affordable combined bag loading and sealing system, handles wicketed bags of various sizes. With a convenient blower to open the bag, Omni-Bagger creates an efficient, ergonomic loading and sealing station. The bag loading section features an adjustable-width drop-load wicket holder and slide-and-lock bag table positioned to accommodate varied bag lengths. Pivoting entering guides (horns) are engineered to the product’s shape to promote rapid bag loading.

Folding System

The Amscomatic LS-300 is a simple, effective way to expand the capabilities of the K-840 and K-895 Automatic Folding Systems to include automatic folding of long-sleeve garments. Its sophisticated control panel enables operators to easily adjust the LS-300 to quickly and efficiently fold most kinds of long-sleeve garments. The LS-300 can also be used during normal short-sleeve garment folding, so there’s no need to change the configuration of the folding line when changing garment type. LS-300 also incorporates Amscomatic’s patented dual-belt (upper and lower) transport system for maximum versatility and excellent performance when folding garments printed with high density or gel inks.

Folding System

Amscomatic’s K-840 is a sophisticated high-speed automatic folding system designed to precisely fold a wide variety of garments and other textile items. It’s engineered for dependable performance and low maintenance in demanding, high-production environments, and can be easily integrated with other Amscomatic equipment into an automatic folding/bagging/sealing system. A significant technological breakthrough—M&R’s patented bottom pulling dual-belt (upper and lower) transport system—finally makes it possible to fold garments printed with high density or gel inks. Folding plates electronically adjust to the desired width while staying parallel to each other. This allows tighter, more consistent folding on all types of products. Wide transfer belts in the second-fold area minimize maintenance and improve performance. The entire garment transport system uses a timing belt drive, which runs quieter and requires less long-term maintenance than chain & sprocket drives.

 

Folding System

The Amscomatic LS-350 expands the capabilities of the K-950 Automatic Folding System to include the automatic folding of long-sleeve garments. The LS-350’s modular design allows for simple installation, including repositioning the K-950’s touch-screen control panel to the top of the LS-350. Since the K-950’s touch-screen also includes LS-350 folding parameters, complete control of all settings is at the operator’s fingertips. In addition, folding parameters from the LS-350 are automatically incorporated with those of the K-950 for each Job Recall™ setting (Job Recall™ provides storage and retrieval of up to 99 fold settings for quick changeover). This merging of folding parameters significantly enhances operating efficiency.

A significant technological breakthrough—M&R’s patented bottom pulling dual-belt (upper and lower) transport system—carries garments on a moving belt instead of the stationary plate used on competing systems. The K-950’s dual-belt makes it easy to fold garments printed with high density or gel inks.

 

In-Tac

The new M&R In-Tac streamlines and simplifies oversize and all-over printing by providing a simple, effective way to apply adhesive inside garments before they reach the press. This ensures that both sides of the garment are kept motionless and stable during the print process, even though the garment is loaded on top of the pallet instead of around it. Using oversize pallets in this fashion can result in increased production speed and reduced labor costs. In-Tac is also great for all-over printing of finished garments on a belt printer.

 

 

BladeShaper SC

Portable tabletop design makes BladeShaper SC easy to move, and its compact size allows it to fit almost anywhere. BladeShaper SC includes a virtually indestructible square-cut 120-grit diamond sharpening wheel1 for smooth, uniform grinding. The diamond wheel sharpens all squeegee materials, including single and multiple durometer types2. Material removal rate is easy to adjust. BladeShaper SC secures squeegees by the blade during sharpening, and it’s designed to accommodate various squeegee holders/handles. Five additional diamond wheel profiles in numerous grits are optionally available.

Turnabout

Turnabout ensures evenly blended inks by rotating the container with a lifting and rolling action, reaching ink that typically settles on the sides and bottoms of containers. The mixer is self-centering and quickly adjusts to 4 to 20 liter (1 to 5 gallon) containers. Turnabout models include AC electric fixed-speed and DC electric variable-speed. Turnabout HD, driven by an AC electric variable-speed motor with constant torque, is specifically designed for use with thicker, more viscous inks and coatings, such as high-density plastisol. AC Standard and DC models rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
