M&R Maverick Direct to Garment Printer

The Maverick exemplifies M&R’s commitment to future technologies in the garment decoration process. With an emphasis on print quality and speed, M&R set out to build a leading-class, industrial-grade DTG printer.
Featuring a dual-shuttling platform that allows independent pallet shuttling based on the operator’s needs, the Maverick can print images one-off or as multiple copies, and produce them in an array of shirt color combinations. Two digitally controlled heat presses use air cylinders to flatten garment fibers and heat the surface prior to printing.
With fast print speeds, expanded color gamut and rugged construction, the Maverick is designed and manufactured with the same commitment to quality and exacting standards that has made M&R an industry leader for over 30 years.

The Maverick’s 12 industrial-grade printheads—six for White ink, plus Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Red and Green—ensure day-to-day performance and peace of mind, and allow for a greater color gamut.
Agitators in the White ink supply tanks and an entire ink re-circulation system ensure consistent results and trouble-free operation.

Being a leader in the screen printing industry M&R knows a thing or two about production speeds.

The Maverick Utilizes a high-speed dual pallet system that allows independent pallet shuttling based on the operators needs, images can be doubled up or independent, and in any shirt-color combination. All print parameters and sequences are fully adjustable within the Maverick’s proprietary Printer-Control and RIP software.

The quick indexing pallets provide more time to load/unload maintaining high throughput while the standard 40.6 x 50.8 cm (16”x20”) pallets utilize a quick-load system, and closed-cell rubber top to secure the garments ensuring the best registration possible, while eliminating the need for spray tack.

  • Maximum Pallet Size: 40.6 x 50.8 cm (16”x 20”)
  • Maximum Image Size: 38 x 48.25 cm (15”x 19”)
  • Heat Press Size: 38 x 50.5 cm (15”x 19.88”)
  • Twelve Ricoh Gen V Printheads: Six dedicated to White Ink, the other six support Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Red, and Green (1 head per color)
  • Ink Curing time is 3.5 to 4 minutes @ 320F (10 to 12 foot heat chamber gas dryer is sufficient to keep up with the Maverick)
  • Print Speeds from 70 to 140+ pcs/hour*
    *Dependant upon print size, garment type and printer settings
  • 6 Proprietary RIP supports 600x600dpi and 600x1200dpi print modes, as well as multi or single pass printing
  • 12mm of “Z-Axis” adjustment allows for printing of thicker garments such as sweatshirts and hoodies (9mm Maximum)
